Knowledge and personal experiences provide competence, which can be used in our daily work and in cooperation with other people. Competence strengthens the self confidence and the ability to choose and make the right decisions. Life consists of many choices; based on conscious or unconscious knowledge, experiences, values and norms.
A positive attitude – combined with willingness – to make changes might result that a problem might turn into a possibility; an idea might turn into a specific action; a dream might become a reality. Sam Eyde, one of the founders of Norsk Hydro once said: “If there is willingness, there is a road”
Experiences show that it is difficult to create success – alone. In most cases we are dependant upon cooperation with others to achieve a specific goal. The better the understanding is concerning a common goal, and the better the communication is between the involved parties, the better the achievements will be. “SGL” is a communication vehicle (S=Cooperation, G=Group development and L=Management) developed by a priest (former) and management consultant, Mr. Jan Petrus Hagberg, Oslo/Norway. SGL focuses on how to create a winning team and to achieve personal development.
Personal development in form of successful achievements in what you are good at or enjoy doing, might create a better foundation for your own confidence and enjoyment in relation to your family, friends and colleagues. A positive, personal development might reduce fears, frustration and stress in the every day life.
In brief; personal development increases life quality!
I qualified as SGL consultant in 2003. I assist individuals and companies in the use of SGL products and implementations. As a communication vehicle SGL is particularly relevant in connection with changes in or evolving labour processes, as well as a selection of suitable candidates for board of directors, management or projects. I participate as a discussion partner or mentor for individuals and companies, whose purpose is to become more conscious about their visions and goals or to develop and achieve specific action plans. The work is done in close co-operations with the contractor.
